All PTFE Mechanical seal stirrer bearing
Vineland, NJ, January 2010: Ace Glass introduces our new stirrer bearing design that features a PTFE bearing housing and PEEK internal parts for better system compatibility and a 316L stainless steel spring. The mechanical seal allows for better operation even under pressure or vacuum applications. The bearing comes with two standard taper bottom fittings for adapting to existing reactor heads and also comes with the popular Ace-Thred design for even better pressure/vacuum operation. The bearings will fit 10, 19 and 28mm OD glass stir-shafts.
ACE will formally introduce the new mechanical bearing system at InformEx USA — February 2010 in San Francisco, Booth #1742.
