Insulating Blankets for Large Scale Reactors
Ace Glass introduces new insulating blankets to protect the glass reactor body and improve temperature stability.
Vineland, NJ, January 2012: Ace Glass Incorporated introduces a new pilot plant insulating blanket design that fits the outside flask body of jacketed vessels from 10L up to 100L volumes. These are critical when the pilot plants are used in reactions where the jacket temperatures must be maintained. The one-inch thick blankets reduce temperature loss from ambient air and evaporation, thus reducing chiller cycling and operating costs. The blankets are various sizes in length and OD to fit in between the inlet/outlet ports and the vessel diameter.
