New C.A.R.B. Octopus Air Monitoring/Sampling System
Designed by the California Air Resources Board and the USEPA
Vineland, NJ, January 2008: Ace Glass, Incorporated, introduces a new air monitoring/sampling system made of inert borosilicate glass. The system, designed by the California Air Resources Board and the USEPA for sampling airborne particulates, meets USEPA standards set forth in "Technical Assistance Document, (TAD) for Precursor Gas Measurements in the NCore Monitoring Network", Version Four.
The system is extremely flexible and has either four- or eight-port bodies complete with sampling canes and collection bottles. The vertical system accommodates either trailer or sampling boxes for field sample collection. The canes have a sample port at the top for ease of sampling, or for auditing by the EPA.
