New Space Saving 50 Liter Pilot Plant from Ace Glass
Shortened 50 Liter flask with flat head saves at least 10% in height
Vineland, NJ, July 2008: Ace Glass Incorporated introduces a new 50 Liter pilot plant design that incorporates a shortened flask body. In combination with a flat glass head, the system results in a 10% savings in height — and such savings can be critical when the pilot plants are used in hoods or in other restricted spaces. Depending on the components used on the head, such as condensers, addition funnels, etc., even greater space savings may be achieved.
ACE formally introduced the new 50 Liter system at the ACS Fall meeting in Philadelphia, PA in August.
