Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets in the Northeast region.
- Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships.
- Present and demonstrate Ace Glass products and solutions to potential clients, highlighting their unique features and benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share ideas; work with the home office concerning quotes, technical needs, problems and ideas from the field to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Conduct regular market research and stay up to date with industry trends and competitors’ activities.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts, track sales performance, competitor analysis, and provide regular updates to the management team.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Ace Glass products and expand the customer base.
- Northeast Territory consists of: CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT and NY State (excluding NYC and Long Island).
- Overnight travel required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a related industry, preferably in laboratory glassware and scientific equipment.
- Minimum of 3 years working as a chemist/lab technician.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively close deals.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
