Glass Lamp Operator - 1st Class

Key Responsibilities/Qualifications of a 1st Class Lamp Operator:

• The Qualified Applicant will be responsible for assembling complex pyrex laboratory assemblies in a productive and efficient manner via bench and lathe.
• Experience & competency assembling complex apparatus such as magnetic distilling heads, soxhlet extractors, jacketed 5-neck reactor with bottom valves, vacuum regulators, highly efficient condensers, high boiling distilling apparatus.
• Candidate should have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience that enables one to review the print and subsequently determine the process in which to assemble.
• A 1st Class Lamp Operator as defined by Ace Glass would require little or no assistance in assembling these complex pieces.
• Works in a manner that meets production requirements and produces quality pieces that meet drawing specifications
• Detail oriented
• Takes initiative
• Communicates with others in a level-headed manner
• Has no difficulty following directives from management
