The Job:
The Canada Customer Service Representative will handle all facets of customer service within our front office sales department.    

  • Position is clerical in nature and requires a process-oriented, detailed approach to performing tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • The Customer Service/Sales position primarily focuses on all related tasks necessary in supporting the sales of our products. The outside sales persons rely on Customer Service to handle the administrative portion of the potential sale. This position is primarily focused on sales into Canada, but will also learn the process for sales into the USA as well as internationally. Cross-training will involve learning to support our Sales Manager's Assistant in quoting and pricing.
  • One must be eager, level-headed, take initiative to continually build a knowledge base of how the business works, who the players are and how to be a valuable player.

The Candidates:

  • Training provided to the right entry level candidate who wants to work full-time not just show up for full-time hours. A full fringe benefit package is included.
  • Past experience in Customer Service/Sales in a manufacturing environment is a plus especially if shipping outside the U.S.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Thrives on being process-oriented
  • Keyboarding skills/Data entry skills
  • Able to evaluate, analyze a situation and use one’s judgment to make a decision
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills necessary every day
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) that enables efficiency and organization
  • Can constructively use the internet as an aid in duties
  • Overall attendance is better than peers
  • Ability to learn and take directives from others
  • Communicates in a level-headed/productive manner
